Instead of writing a new prompt every time, you upload a skill and get consistent, high-quality results. Think of them as smart templates that guide the AI through a multi-step conversation.

Skills work with any AI platform that accepts text instructions, including Claude (Anthropic), ChatGPT (OpenAI), and Gemini (Google). Most skills are platform-agnostic. Some are optimized for a specific platform and noted as such.

Yes. Every skill in the library is free and open source under the Apache 2.0 license. You can use, modify, and share them without restriction.
How are skills certified? + −
Every skill goes through a review process before being listed. Skills are tested with real ecommerce data, checked against SkillShelf's convention checklist, and verified to produce consistent, useful output. Only skills that pass certification appear in the library.
Can I create my own skill? + −
Yes. SkillShelf includes a skill-building skill (Build a New Skill) that walks you through the entire process. You can also submit skills you've built to the library at skillshelf.ai/submit.
