SkillShelf is an open-source registry of certified AI skills for ecommerce. Skills are structured workflows that work across Claude, ChatGPT, and other AI tools. They're built by practitioners, reviewed for quality and safety, and ready to use in production.

AI's usefulness in ecommerce has moved fast. Unless you've been paying close attention, it's hard to know what it can do, where it falls short, and how to get the most out of it. SkillShelf is a shortcut. Every skill in the registry is a proven workflow you can use right away, tested and certified so you're not starting from zero.

Our goal is to make the only thing standing between you and AI a willingness to try. We also believe the industry has a responsibility to make sure the tools available to ecommerce practitioners are safe, reliable, and vetted. That's why every skill on SkillShelf goes through a certification process before it's published.

Who we are

SkillShelf is built and maintained by Cartful, an AI-powered guided selling and product recommendation platform for enterprise ecommerce brands. Founded by Tim Petrella.
